Ragi mudde is a popular and nutritious dish from the southern region of India, particularly Karnataka. It is a simple and healthy preparation made with ragi flour (finger millet flour) and water.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cup water
1 cup Nickmics Ragi Flour
2 tbsp Ghee
Salt to taste
Recipe
Heat water in a kadhai and add salt.
As it starts to boil, reduce the heat and add 1/2 cup of Nickmics Ragi Flour and which continuously to avoid lumps.
It will slowly start to thicken. Add the remaining 1/2 cup Nickmics Ragi Flour.
Keep stirring continuously so no lumps are formed.
Keep the heat on low flame. Cover it and keep it for 2-3 minutes.
Once the ragi is thickened, keep stirring the ragi continuously; add ghee and mix well.
Keep stirring until you see shine on it.
Taste it to keep it cooked completely.
Grase your hand or bowl and shape the cooked ragi into balls.
Serve the Nickmics Ragi Mudde with hot sambhar, rasam or gravy sabji.
