Khichdi Mix Millet Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup Nick Mics Khichdi Mix Millet
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, etc.)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse Nick Mics Khichdi Mix Millet under running water and drain the water.
- Heat ghee or oil in a pressure cooker or pot at medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Sauté ginger paste until fragrant.
- Add mixed vegetables and sauté until slightly tender.
- Add Khichdi Mix Millet and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add water and salt, and stir well.
- Cook in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles or in a covered pot for 15-20 minutes until millet and vegetables are cooked.
- Fluff with a fork and transfer to a serving dish.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
- Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or ghee.
